Asti’s own Asti
Asti DOCG Cocchi is made in the best traditions
of the most famous aromatic sparkling wine in the world. Today,
Giulio Cocchi is the only active producer still remaining within
the confines of the historic city of Asti; and the company makes
small quantities only by selecting the best Moscato grapes from
the hills of the Asti region.
Technological advances and the leap forward in quality of recent
years means that Asti is truly deserving of its DOCG
denomination. Everything possible is done in the vineyards and in
the cellars to keep the delicate primary aromas of fruit intact,
including an ultra slow fermentation process in
temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to ensure a
characteristically fine-beaded perlage.
Well-suited to most desserts. Naturally low in alcohol and
popular with a wide range of wine lovers.
