Gavi

GAVI DOCG

Casa Brina

the grape used is Cortese. It is a pleasant wine, straw-yellow in colour with a delicate bouquet. To the taste it's pleasantly dry and balanced.
Recommended with modern cuisine and fish.
Region: Gavi and Novi, in southern Piemonte.
Grapes: Cortese di Gavi 100%.
Vinification: after a soft pressing the moist is then fermented at controlled temperature.
Characteristics: pale yellow with greenish reflections, dry with a pleasant smooth sensation. 
Fresh and floral with a harmonious taste.
Degree of alcohol:  11,5% vol.
Longevity:

better when drunk young within two years after vintage.

Recommended with: all kinds of pasta, white meats, fish, fresh cheeses and all the delicate recipes of the "cuisine naturelle".
