it is obtained from Ruché grapes in a limited area in the
province of Asti. The wine is fairly ruby red in colour with faint
purplish reflections, intense, persistent, slightly aromatic and
fruity with a dry flavour. Consume with most foods.

Castagnole Monferrato and Portacomaro. A rare wine; the entire DOC comprises no more than 50,000 bottles in any one vintage. Casa Brina makes about 6000 bottles each

Ruby red colour with violet reflections, often with orange tinges. Powerful bouquet. Fruity, dry, well-balanced, moderately tannic, medium-weight, soft and well-balanced. The intense aromatic qualities of the grape are instantly
recognisable.
