| A particular attention
to matters of style and culture has brought to
Bavas to discover an emotional link between
tastes and sounds and after years of simultaneous
concerts and tastings the idea that there really
is certain affinity between the sound of stringed
instruments and red wine on one hand, and brass
instruments and white wine on the other. Thus,
the Gavi fresh and packed with fruit, is like a
hunting horn; Barbera d'Asti, elegant and with
good length, is like a violin (becoming
Stradivario with the refinement of
barrique-ageing); Barbaresco, ample and mature,
is like violoncello; Barolo, rich and full of
personality, is like a double bass; and Moscato
d'Asti, soft and intensely fragrant, is the bass
tuba. |
