MOSCATO D'ASTI DOCG- Bass Tuba

Extrovert and self-confident, bringer of fun and joy to the traditional Piedmontese celebrations that still continue today, the Bass Tuba provides the final touch. Rich, highly aromatic, traditional in taste but youthful in style, it shines in the glass like a smile reflected in polished brass, warm and comforting.

Grapes: 100 % Muscat Canelli.
Region: an historical single vineyard in Castiglione Tinella.
Vinification: soft pressing, fermentation at low temperature.
Characteristics: light golden yellow with pale green tinges crossed by continuous fountains of fine perlage. The great classic aroma of Muscat is here in its native land. The fragrance of Bass tuba is supported by an extraordinary richness of natural sugar (120 grams per litre left) well balanced by a good acidity.
Degree of alcohol: 4,5 %.
Longevity: still drinkable within 3 years, recommended within 18 months.
Recommended with: any kind of dessert and friandises. It is considered also suitable to some chocolate dessert. It doesn't need to accompany always a food: drink it simply well chilled.
Recommended music: any kind of allegro played by a wind instrument: of course to explain its richness and aroma only a Bass tuba will work well. "Paintings at an exhibition" - moderato per tuba - Mussorgskij Ravel suggested.
