Bava, with Exclusive Brands Torino, will be in Washington on October 15th, 2016 at the annual NIAF’s gala.

The National Italian American Foundation’s purpose is “securing the heritage and the Italian American culture, promoting and inspiring a positive image of the Italian Americans while strengthening the connections between the United States and Italy”. Every year in autumn NIAF organizes a gala to support its activities, and Piedmont has been invited as “honor Region”. US Italian ambassador Armando Varricchio will do the honors at the evening. Piedmont delegation will report the opportunities related to culture and tourism, which in the course of 2015 increased by 10% in terms of attendance from the United States, but also to the excellence in many manufacturing fields, such as those where Exclusive Brands Torino network operates (along with Bava also Allure, Altec, Costadoro, Gelati Pepino, Guido Gobino, Mattioli, L’Opificio, Oscalito, Peyrano, Pininfarina Extra, Quagliotti, Relais San Maurizio and Tonatto Profumi).

Piedmont and NIAF’s collaboration will continue till the end of the year with a final meeting on November 13th for a simultaneous charity auction of Alba truffles held both in Grinzane Cavour and Philadelphia, raising funds for the Foundation activities.

During saturday morning’s “Expo Italia – the Best of Italy” – vibrant marketplace and forum for all things Italian and Italian American – Bava will showcase Libera Barbera d’Asti DOCG 2014, Thou Bianc Chardonnay 2015 and Barolo. Expo Italiana has become the largest annual Italian festival in the Usa’s capital.
